Contrast Therapy - Massage Reimagined

Contrast Therapy

Contrast therapy is a lifestyle and therapeutic technique that involves intentionally alternating between hot and cold temperatures—often in the form of contrast baths, or, like in our rooms, through a cold plunge and sauna—to promote various health benefits such as improved circulation, reduced inflammation, muscle recovery, and pain relief.

Our contrast therapy rooms are equipped with some of the most unique and best-quality cold plunges and saunas in the world. Our cold plunge is spacious enough for an NFL player to lay back comfortably or for a couple to plunge together. Our sauna is a hybrid model with both infrared heat and a Harvia stone heater, capable of reaching temperatures as high as 190 degrees—whereas most other saunas used for contrast therapy rely solely on infrared heat, which typically cannot exceed 140 degrees.

Our Cold Plunges

Our cold pluges cool down to 37°F and have a very spacious interior. The unique design of the All-In Commercial Max Cold Plunges allows you to recline fully and “relax” while you are plunging, or curl up like in most other plunges. It can fit an individual up to 6'9" tall or even two, somewhat smaller, people at the same time. We keep one plunge at around 47° and the other around 50°, but we can adjust them for your specific protocols.

Our Contrast Therapy Saunas

Introducing the only hybrid sauna that combines true UL-listed infrared heaters with a Harvia traditional sauna heater—delivering high-heat steam and temperatures up to 190°F—all while you soak in the benefits of a medical-grade red light therapy LED panel.

Contrast Therapy FAQ

Here are some of the more frequently asked questions regarding Deep Lomi Massage. If you do not see your questions below, send us an email and we will answer them for you.

You can schedule a session in the rooftop sauna for 30 minutes, 60 Minutes or even 90 minutes depending on your personal preferences and tolerances. The sauna is completely yours during the time your schedule, but you don’t have to stay in the sauna the entire time. You can come out onto the deck and enjoy some fresh air and/or come inside and cool off with a  shower before going back into the sauna.

We recommend at least 90 minutes for a great, full-body massage, primarily because it is just too hard to do the full body justice in only an hour, and an extra 30 minutes really does make a difference. Warning: Once you have tried a 90 minutes session, it is very difficult to ever feel satisfied with a 60-minute session. In fact, many of our clients have moved on to enjoy full two-hour massages and some find that they need a three-hour massage/relaxation experience to feel complete.
