I named my practice Massage Reimagined for several reasons. The obvious reason was to reimagine the client experience. However, just as importantly, I wanted to reimagine the massage therapist’s experience while working here and supporting them in their growth when they leave the practice as well.
We are going on our 8th year, and with a few exceptions, the only therapists who have left have either moved out of the area or opened their own practice, with my full blessing and support. I keep them on our website with links to their new practices.
At Massage Reimagined, we have built a reputation for doing exceptional bodywork and for maintaining a fun, supportive, and drama-free work environment. Our team thrives on collaboration and mutual respect, so I’m seeking therapists who not only want to do creative work but are also considerate, responsible, and genuinely enjoy working with others.
I value my team and treat them like professionals. That’s why all my therapists are W2 employees, set their own schedules, and earn a minimum of $60/hour on weekdays and $70/hour on weekends, plus tips at our Lower Queen Anne location and earn $50/hour on weekdays and $60/hour on weekends, plus tips at our Magnolia and Fremont locations (for now).
I am looking for someone who genuinely loves massage and has a desire to improve their skills continually. In terms of skills, the most significant thing here is that my therapists need to learn my Deep Lomi Thai Fusion style as well as be able to do full chest and breast massage (if you don’t already have the 16 required hours, I can help you get them).
This year, I have been going through the book Unreasonable Hospitality with my staff. Even though it is about the fine dining industry, it has a lot to say about how we can treat each other as well as our clients. It will also give you an idea of the culture I am trying to create at Massage Reimagined.

Currently, new staff members make at least $50 per service-hour on weekdays and $60 per service-hour on weekends as well as $100 per hour for outcall (if they want to do those). This is in addition to tips. We also pay you your full expected pay for late cancellations or no-shows.
We will work together to find the best schedule for you that works for the practice and other staff members. You do not need to be here if you are not scheduled, we do not do any walk-in appointments. You take days off and vacations when you want for the most part.
Plenty of it! I do a lot of personal training and mentoring with my therapists and they can take any class that I teach at my school next door. I also fly in some very special massage therapists/teachers each year to train my staff privately at no cost to them.
We encourage staff trades and allow you to schedule them at either of our practices whenever you want to. You can also schedule massages for yourself at 50% off whenever you want. We will also pay for your trades when you work a certain amount of hours each month.
We want to work with the best therapists possible, but often, we find that they already have a full-time caseload or commitment to another practice. So we created the guest therapist position so that these talented therapists can drop into one of our practices one or two days a week.
You will be a much better therapist and know a lot more about how to own and manage your own practice. You will also have a supportive team here at Massage Reimagined and be part of an even larger community that we are constantly developing.
